Fallston, MD (May 21, 2019) – Signature drinks, tasty food, and an abundance of fun-loving people assembled for a great cause? We got that! The Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC) today announced they are hosting a “Pup” Crawl on Saturday, June 8 along historic Main Street in downtown Bel Air to raise funds and awareness for the thousands of homeless animals it shelters each year. The Crawl is sponsored by Jeffrey Horowitz, M.D. Plastic Surgery, and signature drinks are provided courtesy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the vodka for dog people.

Tickets are on sale now for $35 per person and include a drink at each pub, a chance to win a door prize, and a participation gift to all pup crawlers. Should tickets not sell out in advance, the price at the door is $45, so don’t delay! Designated drivers and those who prefer unlimited soft drinks may purchase a Tag-Along ticket for $10 per person.

Sign-in will be at Looney’s Pub from 4:30-5:30pm, and the Pup Crawl officially begins at 5pm. Crawlers are invited to visit these other fine establishments during the evening: AleCraft Brewery, Black Eyed Suzie’s, Independent Brewing Company, MaGerk’s Pub, and Sean Bolan’s Irish Pub. Guests are invited back to Looney’s Pub at 9:00pm for a final reception to share one last drink together and announce the door prize winners.

“This is our fourth annual Pup Crawl and people really look forward to it,” said Jen Swanson, HSHC executive director. “While the spirit of the event is lighthearted, the Crawl is a very important fundraiser. All proceeds help offset the cost of medications, vaccinations, and supplies for the animals at the shelter.”

All guests must be 21 years of age to participate, and while we love our furry friends, pets must stay at home.

Sponsorships are still available and more information can be found here. Other participating sponsors include Harford Mutual Insurance, It’s PayDay, and Route 24 Ale House.
