You’re invited to join our staff and volunteers for a walk around the picturesque grounds of the shelter every Sunday morning at 10AM, weather permitting.
With 26 acres and a 1-mile trail system that loops around our property, it’s the perfect chance to walk your dog with us and/or meet some of the adoptable dogs at the shelter. We’ll meet in the parking lot promptly at 10AM and then hit the trails!
A few things to keep in mind…
- With just a few small inclines, the walks are suitable for all ages and while not paved, the trails are wide and mowed.
- All dogs must be on a leash, and for the safety of all participants, no retractable leashes.
- Please bring your own bottled water, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
- Some of the wildlife we may encounter include squirrels, chipmunks, lots of birds, foxes and deer!
