Fallston, MD (January 4, 2012) – It’s time to lace up the snazzy rented bowling shoes, buy a slice of pizza, and settle in for a fun-filled afternoon of bowling on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m. at Forest Hill Lanes, One Maurice Drive in Forest Hill, MD, in support of the homeless and neglected animals at the Humane Society of Harford County.

You don’t have to be a candidate for the Professional Bowling Association to join in and raise money for the animals. Forest Hill Lanes has lane bumpers for the kids and computerized score keeping, so anyone can participate. The key to success is collecting donations prior to the event which can be accomplished two ways: either print a paper form to collect donations or create a personalized event page and fundraise online. Most people do both! You’re passionate about animals, right? Then don’t be shy about asking friends, family, co-workers, and school buddies to support the animals at the shelter. All donations are tax-deductible and should be brought to the registration desk on the day of the Bowl-a-Rama.

Registration for the Bowl-a-Rama will begin at 3 p.m. and participants will bowl as many games as they can fit in between 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Pre-registration is $15 per person and registration at the door is $20. Registration fees will help to pay for lane rentals and bowling shoes. Pre-register by February 20 and pay the $15 per person pre-registration fee with a credit card – or call 410-836-1090, x101 to pay over the phone. Each lane will consist of up to five bowlers, so if you have fewer players, you may be paired with other bowlers.

For every $50 you raise in donations, you will receive two raffle tickets for a chance to win cool prizes. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase at the Bowl-a-Rama. Tickets are $3 each, two for $5, or an arm’s length for $10. Prizes will also be awarded for the top three individuals or groups who raise the most money.

If your group is interested in sponsoring the Bowl-a-Rama, there are three different sponsorship levels that provide recognition in flyers, advertisements, and on the Internet.
