Fallston, MD (May 15, 2012) – The Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC) and TD Bank’s Bel Air store are teaming up to host the Carnivale of the Dogs on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The festivities will be held in the parking lot at the bank’s location at 115 Baltimore Pike in Bel Air, MD.

Carnivale of the Dogs is your place to meet people who share your love of all things both fabulous and furry. Some of HSHC’s adoptable dogs will be present to meet and greet the public. Start training now to compete in a variety of games with your four-legged friend and win one of our great prizes! Is your pooch a good listener? Then play Musical Tails at 11:15 a.m. The last dog to sit when the music stops is out and the game continues until one top dog is left. Don’t miss out on the Silliest Pet Trick contest where you can showcase your dog’s unique canine abilities at 12:15 p.m. Strut your mutt’s stuff in the Best Dressed Pet Costume Contest at 1:15 p.m.

Dog loving representatives from Canine Couture, Hickory Pet Supply, and See Spot Run/Dogs On The Mark will showcase their products and services. A face painter will entertain the children with her bright and colorful designs, and a hot dog vendor will provide complimentary refreshments for all.

Bring your spare change and donate it to a great cause! Visitors are encouraged to use TD Bank’s Penny Arcade to automatically count and donate their spare change, with 100 percent of the donation going to the Humane Society of Harford County. Visitors are also encouraged to join TD Bank’s Affinity Membership Program by simply opening an account and TD Bank will make an annual contribution to the Humane Society based on the balance in their account. Checking, Savings, Money Market, CD and Retirement accounts are all included in the Program. Account balances are not affected in any way, are only used to determine the level of contribution, and are kept confidential.
